Lisa Ho vintage clothing auction – Part 2

And I thought everything had been sold the first time round! Lisa Ho (Australian fashion designer) must surely have had one of the best private collections of 1920s and 30s gowns that I have ever see in one place. Most of the gowns this time round sold in lots for very reasonable prices. In some cases, $250 for five 1930s tea-gowns! Oh how I wish I could have been there, but sadly, I’m quite sure I would be broke for the rest of my life, as I would have wanted to bring all the 30s gowns home. Here is just a small look at what was on offer, which was literally hundreds of garments from the 1900s to modern, but her 20s to 40s collection was quite substantial. Enjoy!

  1. Hallo gorgeous! We managed to get there and bought three of the lots pictured above (and some others) …I’m steaming and photographing now. Just so very sorry the Lisa Ho label has gone under…hope we haven’t seen the last of her wonderful talent.
