Vintage Stocking Box Art

Not much to say except…I love them. Some of them are almost works of art in themselves, especially the ones for Munsing Stockings.

Another great pair of Remix shoes, reproduced in great detail with a great 1930s early 40s look. I will have the navy and white please!

“… From its grosgraine piping to its intricate cut-outs on the vamp and “peep toe” styling, it is a sporty two tone lace up pump. Featuring two sets of laces: a ribbon lace and waxed leather lace for an alternative look. All leather uppers, lining and leather soles.”

Vintage Beauty Icons 1: Carole Lombard

I just adore this woman!! She lived and breathed style. From the 1920s right through to her death in 1942 she was stunningly beautiful. If I could magically achieve any look from the 1930s – hers would be it!

New to the Etsy shop for October – 1940s shoes!

I have five glorious pairs of 1940s (some maybe very early 50s) for sale in the shop this month. All fine examples of the many shoe styles that were available at the time. One pair is pretty much deadstock and comes with it’s original box, dated 1944. My favourite is the beaded shoes with the plastic vamp. Very elegant. If my shoe size wasn’t an 8.5 I’d be keeping two of these pairs for myself!
