Another bunch of amazing vintage shoes from the 1920s to the 40s from my Pinterest vintage shoe board. The colour and vibrancy of the styles match anything we have today.

I love 1930s evening wear and these gowns from my Pinterest page are gorgeous examples.
I have a a lot of new things in the Etsy shop and coming to the shop soon. 1940s and 50s dresses, 40s ladies suit, 50s gloves and suit, 20s and 30s mens ties and much more!
Wonderful collection of pics from one of my favourite sites, Vintage Everyday. Click on the link to see them all as I’ve only included some of them here.

I acquired a motherland of vintage clothing and items last weekend and have posted some of it it my Etsy shop (Violets Vintage Emporium) already. Items include 30s bolero, 30, 40s and 50s blouses, 40s swimsuit, 20s and 30s sewing patterns, 60s boots, 20s buckle, 50s suits and dresses, 40s tie, 50s and 60s gloves and Tootal scarf, 50s frosted glasses and a 30s art deco canister. Stay tuned for the second lot.
I saw this beautiful ad from a 1926 fashion magazine on Etsy and was amazed by the variations and detailing of the gowns for sale. So, I looked through my Pinterest pages and pulled up some real ones 🙂

Just because it’s vintage…and cute 🙂
I had never heard of the Le’odance brand of dance shoe until I bought a pair off someone who was selling them because they were too big. They are a French company and I have to say, they are THE most comfortable (of the more formal heeled, raw leather-soled swing dance shoes) that I have ever owned. So comfy and move well on the floor. I wish they had an outlet in Australia. Great low and medium heels for Balboa and Lindy with so many colours and styles. Check out some of my favourite ones. I love the duo-toned ‘Saby’.
I adore this ad from 1925 for Maybeline mascara. Thank you to the Vintage-Spirit blog for sharing it.
Yes, summer is here again…for those of us in the Southern Hemisphere anyway. You wouldn’t know it was summer today here in Perth though as it is currently 16C and raining! Just the way I like it 😉 Here is a group of wonderful old Aussie travel prints from the 1920s and 30s. Of course, the graphic designer in me can’t help love the Art Deco influence in some of them. Enjoy.
